Welcome to my corner of the internet! As a newly graduated engineering student, I felt like it was important to have a portfolio site to showcase my projects, skills, and interests. This site is designed with a retro aesthetic, reminiscent of the late 90s and early 2000s web design, reflecting my passion for classic computing and internet culture.

I am currently 23 years old and deeply entrenched in developing my skills. I would like to be proficient in software engineering and mechanical engineering. I went to College and graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering which is basically a Mechanical Engineering Degree with some Management and Business sprinkled in. What pushed me towards a life of Programming and Engineering was a deep childhood appreciation for retro computing, classic video games,and the pioneering era of the internet.
Growing up the only programming langauge that ever really interested me was C/C++. However, after graduating college I realized that Java is a very widely used programming language in the industry and wanted to develop my skills with the Java Programming Language. I feel that this endevour is not only a fun excercise that will help me grow as a programmer, but also a practical skill that will open up more opportunities in the software engineering field.

Growing up I always enjoyed using the internet and knew that I wanted to learn how to make websites. Over the years I have made many websites, I have practiced HTML and CSS and even some JavaScript. However, the world of the web kept rapidly evolving and I feel I have fallen behind, especially with fields such as Cybersecurity and best practices for keeping a website safe. I want to take the time to learn more about modern web technologies and how to keep users secure.
